A limited edition of 110 pieces for Hartal! second release, a ritualistic 2 tracks 7'' disc, out for Zen Hex rec.
With the opening track Okhunoghawe, Hartal! fool your google search for a meaning, and embrace like an octopus that esoteric, psychedelic vibe, previously centered with their debut record (again, self-titled), last year (free download here).
So, like a extrapolation of that psychotic/psychedelic shore sensed with Afraid!'s MegalökliftOkhunoghawe marches over intense and haunted atmospheres, where Alberto Brunello's grievous vocals are swallowed into reverb and delay efx, serpentine of electric guitar and bass riffs, the tribalism of drums, and the crescendo of fuzz pedals and synths. A sort of caustic hypnotism.
Der Tiger Von Eschnapur / Moto by Casablanca is a two-rooms song, balancing abrasiveness with passive aggressive delicacy: it starts with a cutting epic frenzy, a trance powered with obsessive, percussive bass line and drumming, then, its second part is calmed down by the bass, gently dub phrasing, and it drives safe home along a narcotic flow.
I read that hartal "(in India) a closing of shops and stopping of work, especially as a form of passive resistance.". The next time I am on strike, I want to play at full volume this record.

not yet, probably nobody cares, or nobody cared enough to tell something. Also: nobody reads komakino.
